Lombok Beaches – Picking a perfect venue

So whether you are choosing an elaborate beach wedding or just want to have a small affair, you can be sure that it will be a hassle free event. Most hotels and beach resorts offer packages for you to choose from. Also there are wedding planners or tour agencies which specialize in wedding and honeymoon planning.

Senggigi area

This area is very popular as it has a lot of good resorts and hotels and nice beaches.

For example, if you are choosing Sheraton Beach resort, you could have your wedding planned on the black sand beach.

There are many well known resorts around the area such as Holiday Inn. Most of the resorts are fronting the beach and thus you can be sure that you have a private nice corner which you can use for your wedding.

The beach here is pristine white sand as compared to the beaches up north. This beach is very popular and is near to the Kuta beach, which is famous among tourists for its surfing.

You could put up at Novotel Lombok, which is near the famous Kuta Beach.

You can also do snorkeling at the Gilis (small islands) surrounding Lombok. The best place to snorkel is Gili Nanggu, whereby you can find blue corals, which is only found in two places in the world.

You could also go to Gili Trawangan or other areas for your snorkeling or diving trips and you might catch Nemo around.

As Lombok also produces pearls, so you might be able to stop at some of the pearl farms near the harbour to take a look and pick up some precious pearls home!
